Coface appoints Nicolas Garcia as Group Commercial Director

Coface has appointed Nicolas Garcia as Group Commercial Director. In this new position, he also becomes a member of the Group Management Board and the Executive Committee.

In his new role, Nicolas Garcia will drive the Group’s commercial growth, leveraging its product innovation, strengthened multi-channel distribution model and high quality of service throughout the world.

Nicolas Garcia began his career at Euler Hermes France as a credit analyst in 1997, before being appointed head of the Regional Risk Office.

In 2004, he took up a commercial role as International Account Manager, before being nominated Head of International Product Management and International Sales. In 2007, Nicolas Garcia joined the Euler Hermes World Agency as Director of Regional Sales & Marketing and, in 2011, headed Commercial Underwriting. He joined Coface in 2013.

Nicolas Garcia, aged 41, graduated from Bordeaux University in Economics and International Finance. He holds an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the Birmingham Business School.
